About
Where Irreverence came from, what it's about, and the person behind the mic.
The Show
Irreverence is a podcast and blog built on a simple premise: most conversations about life, science, and the human experience are too polite to be useful.
This is the antidote. An irreverent look at the things that actually matter — mindset, growth, science, culture, and what it means to live differently in a world that keeps handing you a script. Oh, and don't forget about the things that don't matter, we look at them too...
No agenda. No brand deals. No carefully curated personal brand. Just honest, curious, occasionally uncomfortable conversations and writing.

The Host
I started Irreverence because I was tired of conversations that stayed safely inside the lines.
I'm The Functional Depressive — and yes, that's a real thing. I've spent years being curious about the wrong things: the science that contradicts the self-help aisle, the life experiences that don't make it into the highlight reel, and the parts of being human that everyone quietly relates to but nobody talks about out loud.
I'm not an expert. I'm not a guru. I'm someone who reads too much, thinks too hard, and has a lot of opinions about things that probably don't matter — and a few that really do.
The podcast and blog exist because I believe the most interesting conversations happen when you're willing to be wrong, willing to be challenged, and willing to say the thing nobody else in the room is saying.
That's Irreverence. Welcome to it.
